i JUST came back from esplanade :D

omg, phantom of the opera ROCKED!

the backdrops are amazing. they change so quickly, and its normally shown in a different perspective.

i mean, using the mainstage as a background? i mean that's like, really cool! okay, maybe you won't know what i'm talking about, just go watch it!

the singers/actors (or whatever you call them) have beautiful voices.
especially christine's, Raoul's and of course, the phantom.
actually, duh, they're the main characters, hahaha!

the orchestra below the stage was awesome, and well, its one of the few times i'm seeing a female conductor x] the notes were all like so precise, there wasn't any moment out of beat (at least i think)

well, as for the storyline..it ain't really that good though, what i enjoyed most was observing the backdrop and listening to the music yup.

and the morning excercise was hilarious.
we ahs students will know, our principal was doing the morning excercise at the top,

ohright, so the choir members had to meet mrbentan,
then he told us mrkwei wasn't happy with our response for the pattaya trip.
but its in the middle of the term, missing lesson are badd ):

anyway i was sleeping throughout the lessons, until i had to go for DENTAL.
okay the nurse was friendly and she said my teeth are quite okay,
besides the fact that i use too much toothpaste and it's harming my enamel o.O

after dental i was so energetic! :D recess with siyun, ashley&3Hgang
hoho! hotel rwanda rocked! hutu and tutsis.

racial riots are the most pointless things on earth.
why do humans like killing each other so much? its just senseless.

fastforward to AFTER SCHOOL.
prissy got into trouble la, i shan't elaborate,

& i was just wondering, what would the world be without me?
then i thought again, since i'm not on this world,
then where would the thought of me being nonexistent exist anyway. nevermind these two.

to be pessimistic; it is actually rather true, that it is possible to survive without a loved one.
but its just a life filled with sorrow anyway, its something like, have you ever wondered if you've never met your bestfriend? everyone does make a difference.

take my first day of school in anglican high for example. i vividly remember what happened on the first day of school; a cheerful girl said hi to me where i was sitting at the corner, with nobody to talk to. she was sitting next to me, and well, most of the time she was even in sectwo i think.

she told me her name was annia, and so i smiled and told her mine.
that was the beginning of a new friendship in my first days of anglican high,
and till now, i still treasure our friendship deeply, really. although we're not in the same class, not in the same cca. but i really like the way how we have recess together everyday(:

and oh where was i? wasn't i supposed to be telling you about some theory of nonexistence or whatsoever -.- forget that i'm in no mood to talk about that.

anyway, if you're also wondering if you make a difference to others' lives..
i'm telling you, you do.



anyway let me continue, i feel really blessed to be a part of 2d'06.
its the most wonderful class i've ever been to, we're bonded and we're mostly close to each other.

we're not the type that ONLY studies or plays.
we do both, we excel in our studies, we're quiet during class,
but out of class, we're the normal rowdy bunch of people for the guys,
and the giggly group of girls. okay, maybe not giggly, its just stereotypical hahha.

and i really love my friends to bits there;
and although we are generally divided into say, four to five groups,
we are still close to each other i say.

annia, alicia, anna, kaiying, ashley and siyun, thanks for being the greatest friends, ever.
isabel, jiayu, thanks for being there for me when i'm down.
erica, liushuang, thanks for being good studying motivators,

there's always people welcoming me the moment i step into class.

i really love that sense of belonging i have there

its this feeling that's lacking in my new class.
i don't feel like i can really really talk to anyone.
okay yeah, the people there are generally nice.
and okay, many people are quite nice.

but its like, maybe we've not bonded or sth lah.

our class is in a BIG mess.
sometimes i just want to tell the people at the back to just keep quiet.
its super irritating when the first two rows are trying to listen,
then the people at the back make a hell of a noise.
they make the teachers all damn pissed, then they can't teach properly
please just sleep if you don't want to listen,
we're already making a bad reputation for ourselves,
please don't let it get worse and make everyone give up on us.
even if you know all the stuffs, there's always people who don't get things that easily.

and more defeaning screams. we screamed all the way down the stairs, screamed while taking

photos, screamed and cried, screamed on the way home.

okay so i woke up in the morning to wait at the busstop;

yup so when we reached there we were quite early,
so i went to grab a sandwich with rachel. tuna sandwich! :D


choir was..not bad ^^
we had some warmups and mrkwei gave us loads of good advice that really helped!
especially in kasar and everyone sang.
he put emotions in our everyone sang, and it really did sound very nice during our morning practice!

mrtan then read us some messages from our seniors;
all asking us to jiayou and calm down and all the best,

then we're dismissed for changing and for a short recess break;
i went with anqi QIQ and jiaye YEYE for fishballnoodles and then went to change
ohman the scarves are so difficult to tie!
messed it up a few times before i got it right yea!


huruhr. the seniors came to watch us too;
then, mrtohcame.
he's sick so he went to the clinic to get a jab!

afternoon session was not as good,
maybe because we've just had lunch or something.

we did a few quick run throughs and promptly headed to the waiting area.

pierce secondary was singing then,
and we started to get nervous! =X
liu was like grabbing his heart and all,
me and anqi were like squeezing each other's hands.
limying was getting all nervous too, so we asked each other to JIAYOU!

we then prayed for the best, and yep it did work! ^^



then, it was OURTURN.
with our hearts thumping, we entered the stage.
i spotted the seniors,
although i'm not supposed to do so hmm,

and we screwed up i think.
everyone sang was sharp although we tried our best to do the dynamics and emotions.
meplalian was soso maybe,
kasar was slightly sharp too!

mrtoh was breaking out in cold sweat,
my feet felt pretty sore =X

i was glad the 8 minutes were finally over,
and we whispered after we got down the stage;
everyone weren't glad with our performance...

mrtoh told a few of us we won't get gwh, he was sure we'd get a gold..
we were heartbroken yes. because we wanted honours badly hur...


hurhur then we stayed on for awhile to listen to around 2 choirs then meisabel got changed and went back,
only to find a few people left, the others went to get some food.

so we got very hungry and tried to go down to the cafeteria, but it was closed T.T
yup, we didnt' have anyfood until the results were announced.



lateron we gave up waiting in vch and waited outside where most of the guys were,
me and leongying were stuck on the same page of ciyushouce for like uber long so we gave up studying,
anyway thanks for the sweets!


rachel was getting bored too, so she played with my phone haha!

and our hearts were thumping so much!

i remember the moment when the results were announced;
we all jumped out from our seats and cheered like mad.

many people broke into tears of joy,
we couldn't stop screaming and cheering even after we left the place.

we took LOTS of pictures after that,
had loads of fun.



well, we didn't expect to get that after our performance,
we thought we really sucked.
we lost all our hopes for gwh basically,
that's why we're really so happy and hyper now!

i've just come home from artclass hahaha;

and seriously art class is fun which the girls at the back row;
we can talk so much crap (senseless and wrong ones)
well, we sometimes just can't finish our work :D

its because we can't stand the classical music so we talk!

but well we weren't that bad,
so let's continue to work hard on monday!


anyway i left at 1245, got late for piano lesson
right, after 2 weeks of no practicing the standard dropped again -.-
scales are like ..... three songs were quite bad;
i forgot alot of stuff.

the whole of 3L was studying.

3L studying in the morning = rare sight

ohanyway, ngikhiong really got freaked out
cause the three worms FINALLY crawled out from the table hole
so yea, she changed a table and i sealed her hole up with liquid fluid xD

andandand mr ongengkiat took us for the CA period
and lol! his shirt always have this flap at the back; what's it for? o.O

and he was like taking out his shoe and scratching his feet;

for i slept at 1230 yesterday and woke up at 5...
freaking tired yes, and we're really screwed for SS test.
